The Infernal Noise Machine (link) by Flight of Harmony is what I’d consider the centerpiece of the Flight of Harmony product line. About a decade ago a friend of mine brought over one of the original desktop units and I was captivated. When Flight informed me that he wanted to bring the Infernal Noise Machine to the Eurorack format – I was thrilled. During the beta-testing and development cycle I was able to make suggestions that affected design and to drum up interest during the Kickstarter, I filmed an in-depth video of a production unit.
To this day it remains a centerpiece of my portable “experimental” synthesizer. It’s a control surface, two screaming band-pass filters, two VCA’s, an analog oscillator with multiple outputs and of course – the beloved noise core.
